Why Do I Do What I Do?
It is always and all about service to the client. Getting charged with any offense is not a pleasant experience. I put myself in the client's position and appreciate that they are taking a leap of faith in whomever; they choose to represent their legal interest. What I bring to the table that helps ensure objectives are strived for are my years of experience and intangible assets. One gains invaluable exposure to how our justice system works when one has the privilege of working on both sides of a criminal case. Having had years of experience as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney, I am provided with insight into the workings of how a case is developed, in all its many stages, from the investigative stage through to the arrest and prosecution. One aspect has remained constant. The area of criminal law is fraught with nuances in its application. Knowing what to look out for is why the work is meaningful. Essentially, having represented and protected hundreds of clients' rights over many years has been a source of meaningful reflection.
