About Brytny
Senior Legal Assistant
Brytny Coleman serves as a Senior Legal Assistant at Nave Law, supporting the firm’s legal team with a strong commitment to preparation, communication, and client care. She brings a steady, people-focused approach to her work, shaped by her background in education, her passion for advocacy, and her belief that every person deserves to feel heard, seen, and supported during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Born and raised in the Utica and Rome area, Brytny made the move to Syracuse in the spring of 2018. Before entering the legal field, she spent the majority of her twenties working in education, primarily supporting children with special needs. After ten years in that field, she decided it was time to challenge herself, pursue a new path, and continue building a career rooted in service, advocacy, and meaningful impact.
Brytny has a deep interest in politics, law, and social issues, and firmly believes that knowledge is power. She is currently continuing her education in Political Science with a concentration in Policies. Her long-term goal is to attend law school and become a criminal defense attorney, where she hopes to help people navigate difficult circumstances with dignity, understanding, and a voice in the process.
Her strengths include appreciation of beauty and excellence, kindness, humor, spirituality, and curiosity. These qualities show up in the way she approaches both people and process. She values quality work, brings warmth and positivity to team interactions, and remains committed to learning the details behind strong legal support.
Known for her kindness, curiosity, and positive attitude, Brytny contributes to a team environment built on encouragement, accountability, and continuous improvement. Her work supports Nave Law’s mission of helping make the world a better place by solving everyday people problems.
Why do i do what i do?
I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, seen, and supported, especially during some of life’s most difficult times. It is important that people are given a voice to speak about their experiences, how those experiences impacted them, and how those moments influenced the decisions they’ve made. My goal is to continue growing personally and professionally while making a meaningful impact through my work, education, and life experiences.
