About Amanda
Paralegal
Amanda was born in Buffalo, New York, and raised in Western New York. She has been to over 35 of the 50 states and has met various unique and outstanding people in every state. She has learned that everyone can benefit from kindness and help, no matter the demographic. Studying law, assisting attorneys, and aiding clients is her direct way to contribute to those in need.
Amanda graduated from SUNY Oswego summa cum laude with a major in economics and a minor in political science. Her academic interests and studies revolved around income and educational inequalities, minority treatment in the law, individual rights in the law, and economic development. She intends to obtain a Juris Doctor with interest in constitutional law, business law, and international law.
Why do i do what i do?
With a personal history involving the foster system and adoption, I knew I wanted to use my experiences and educational background to help people in similar situations . So, in my senior year of undergraduate studies, I took a class called Law & Society that tracked the history of LGBTQ+ treatment and rights in the United States. Through this course, I began to grasp the power of the individual voice and discovered a passion for wanting to help those in need be heard. Using my education and skills to help people in need is my greatest purpose.
