About Jennifer
Senior Paralegal
Jennifer started her career in retail management as a store director at two major retailers. After having two children, she left the job market for a few years to be home with her family. Once returning to the workforce, she wanted to pursue a more fulfilling career, so she went to school to obtain her paralegal degree.
Upon graduating from Bryant and Stratton with Honors, she was immediately hired as the Workers’ Compensation Coordinator with Smith, Sovik, Kendrick & Sugnet. She spent ten years in that position. In 2017, looking for a change of pace, Jennifer started to work as a criminal defense paralegal, focused around DWI Defense. In this role, Jennifer assists attorneys with a wide variety of tasks, including communication with clients, courts, and district attorney offices, drafting of motion arguments overseeing the entire caseload.
In 2018, Jennifer was promoted to a senior paralegal, where she is responsible for paralegal oversight, training, development, and legal processes and procedures.
Why do i do what i do?
It is truly about helping people through possibly one of the lowest points in their lives and doing what I can to assist them as best as possible in getting through and beyond it. I also believe everyone deserves the best representation, no matter their backstory, and love to be part of a team that does their very best to ensure that is what our clients get.
