Nave CARES is our unique way to increase the well-being of community members through a program of philanthropy. Our commitment is twofold. First, to foster an environment where people come before profits. We believe if we put people first, we can create, develop, and implement systems of change. Second, it is to provide valuable resources that allow members of our community to grow. We feel that when we help each other grow, that is the best of humanity.
CARES also stands for our core values, which we define as:
WHAT IS NAVE CARES
Our Mission & Goals
Our mission is to transform the meaning of legal services by putting people before profits. That’s why we are proud to introduce Nave Cares, our community-focused initiative.
Nave Cares has five components.
To go beyond what our clients and community expect of us. Legal issues can be surface-level. Our work improves not only the lives of our clients but also our community.
To support some great local nonprofits. These organizations provide an excellent opportunity to foster an individual passion for preventing incarceration and overcoming addiction. A passion that can help lead to a better purpose.
To provide addiction resources. Addiction is a tragic issue in our community. We hope to make treatment more readily available and help people get back to healthy and happy lives.
To offer volunteer opportunities. Volunteering connects people, combats depression, increases self-confidence, and helps reduce stress and anger.
To support future generations. We’re offering a scholarship to high school seniors who have overcome adversity.
This community makes us proud. Nave Law is helping create a better tomorrow by helping people today.
Nonprofit of the Month
Road2RecoveryCNY is a non-profit organization founded by Darlene and Tim Endy out of gratitude for their son’s recovery.
Road2RecoveryCNY is committed to financially underwriting victims-in-need of long-term, 12-step, treatment programs—and programs that are far away from the settings of their addiction. Entering only its third year of existence, R2RCNY has already sent 22 young-persons from central New York to such treatment: now with a better-than-seventy-percent success rate.
The motto of R2RCNY is: saving lives one at a time.
And this is precisely what it does. Its all-volunteer team is working tirelessly to raise funds to assist other young addicts onto the pathway to renewed life: and needs the help of anyone who can donate or volunteer (or both) as it struggles to keep pace with this desperate need.
Disclaimer: We are not recommending any of these facilities, simply providing options. We have not received, nor would we ever take any money to provide support information.
